Squeeze In Some Holiday Workouts At Brookhaven's Newest Fitness Spot

December 13, 2016

BROOKHAVEN, GA -- Ah, the holidays. It's a time to hit the stores to shop, bundle up for the weather, and, get reaquainted with family members far and near. But oftentimes, our workouts get left out in the cold. If so, there's a new gym in Brookhaven that can help with that.

Interfusion Fitness on Buford Highway is a one-stop shop for fitness, offering everything from dance and yoga to kickboxing and nutrition training.

Interfusion Fitness is co-owned by Desiree Nathanson, a former Atlanta Hawks cheerleader. She is also a certified personal trainer.

Interfusion Fitness opened its doors in November.

Bits & Bites - Atlanta Tomorrow's News Today

September 21, 2016

Desiree Nathanson, Dietetic Technician, Registered,  plans to open her own co-ed fitness studio Interfusion Fitness next month in Northeast Plaza.  Nathanson, a former member of and current trainer for the Atlanta Hawks Cheerleading staff has for the past few years taught a variety of classes at Dance 101 in Loehmann's Plaza Brighten Park.  Nathanson describes Interfusion as a "boutique fitness studio" with offerings such as circuit training, personal training, sports training, barre, yoga, dance and cardio dance.  The studio will be open seven days a week and offer a variety of morning and evening classes. Prices, which should be finalized later this week, will include a la carte offerings as well as six month memberships.  A lease was signed on the 4,100 square foot space in June with work expected to be completed in the coming weeks.  Nathanson tells me she plans for the studio to be open by mid-October.
